BIG WHITE Community Information

Big White Ski Resort is located just 56 km (35 mi) southeast of Kelowna and is a world class ski resort with 118 runs and 15 express chairs. Recently the resort added the ''Snow Ghost Express'', the longest 6 person chairlift in Canada. Construction of the ''Chateau Blanc'', a new $200 million 17 storey hotel, casino and convention centre is scheduled for opeing in the 2010/2011 season.

Driving time is approximately 4 hrs from Vancouver and 8 hrs from Calgary. Kelowna International Airport is Canada's 10th busiest airport with close to a 1.5 million passenger volume.
