Kelowna Move to Cure ALS

It’s time to “Move” together again this June with the 2022 Move to Cure ALS!!

We invite you to move with us on Sunday, June 12th for the Kelowna Move to Cure ALS, at the Island Stage in Waterfront Park.

We are excited to welcome back The Zamboni Brothers who are sure to start you moving to the music! So come early to register and enjoy the show. Move however you like; walking, running, riding, rolling, supporting or being present; along the city’s beautiful waterfront boardwalk.

We will have a silent auction with fabulous items generously donated by local vendors. Plus a Kid Zone, 50/50 and food on site. A fun day for the entire family! All in support of our ALS community in the Okanagan and around BC. Moving closer and closer to finding treatments and a cure!

Donations made to the Move to Cure ALS helps in two critical ways:

PATIENT SERVICES – 60% of proceeds supports people living with ALS and their families. These services include; the equipment loan program, support groups, psychological support, kids camp, referrals to local health care and community services, educational information and mobile clinics.

RESEARCH – 40% of proceeds to Vancouver based Project Hope. An initial $20M goal has been set for PROJECT HOPE to end ALS through the establishment of a world class ALS Centre at UBC.
