Light Up in West Kelowna

Light Up, the brightest City event of the year, returns to Westbank Centre on Friday, Dec. 1, 2023

  5:00 - 8:00 p.m.

We’re kicking off the holiday season with this fun, family-friendly event. We will have choirs singing carols, kids activity stations, free hot chocolate, food trucks and a visit from Santa!

Santa and the Mayor will arrive by the Zamboni and fire truck right before the flipping of the switch at 6:00 p.m.

Subject to weather, a high-altitude fireworks show will take place at 8:30 p.m. This show will be launched from a downtown location, making it visible to many parts of our community.

Join us for some festive fun and don't forget to dress for the weather!

New this year!

Local crafters will be showcasing their talents at a community craft fair during Light Up. This is a great time to do some Christmas shopping or just buy something special for yourself!

• 5:00 p.m. - Light Up starts
• 5:35 p.m. - West Kelowna Music School
• 6:00 p.m. - Flipping of the Switch with Santa and Mayor Milsom
• 6:15 p.m. - Our Lady of Lourdes School Choir
• 7:00 p.m. - Christian Youth Choir & Bass Group
• 7:30 p.m. - Embers Show by Kinshira Entertainment
• 8:00 p.m. - Light Up ends
• 8:30 p.m. - Fireworks!
